It is the unique specimen of such type. It was found near Sevastopol (Qrim, ancient Cherson).
An obverse is imitation (?) of the one very famous Crimean type with two-heads eagle (743 AH, you see here #6100). Reverse – portal Genovese. It is not overstrike or countermark. Upload Date: 5-July-2004

However, this is an overstrike: the traces of the host coin including three dots of the beading can be seen from 8 to 1 hour on the "castle" side. And more, the "castle" die is only 2/3 in diameter of that necessary to coin the opposite side with letters. Impossible for the die's pairs, and with the small upper die (for sure upper, as one-sided coins with this castle are known) you will never achieve deep relief on the whole of the large die, outside the edge of the small one http://coins.ucoz.ru/_fr/9/4106786.jpg |
