Cubs celebrate Senior Night with 2nd place win

The Olney Cubs hosted district rivals the Seymour Panthers for the second game of a double header, with second place in District on the line.

All-Cub Little League game in Olney

The Little League Cub 12U and 11U had a rare chance to play each other for an exhibition game at Cub Field.

Olney Cubs baseball played the Archer City Wildcats Friday, April 12, winning 12-4, advanced their record to 8-9-1, and tied Seymour for second in the district.

This year, the Olney FFA has competed well in Career Development competitions, competing against 99 schools in the local area and 19 others at district competition on April 10.

Don “Sonny” Wainwright passed away on April 29, 2024 at Olney Hamilton Hospital at the age of 87. Services will be held at the chapel at Lunns Funeral Home in Olney later this week.
