I haven't logged in MOULA for about couple of weeks and today when I tried to log in the launcher just stays at 'checking update' and freezes there for about 10 minutes and I restart the launcher and it freezes at 'Initializing patcher'... never encount such thing before..I got no problem with my Internet connection and still running the launcher when typing this topic..is server down? or I just need to keep waiting ?

Intertubes are working fine. Guess it might be a block somewhere down the line/servers have a hickup/just not ment to scoot online tonight? :P

Same for me.
Are other people getting into the Cavern today?
I was on about midnight Tuesday and got the Net 6 dump.
But i have had the "Initializing patcher..." freeze ever since then.

So, please: Are other explorers reaching the Cavern now?

Installation Problems wrote:

This indicates that there is more than one patcher currently running. To solve this problem:

1.) Open the Task Manager (ctrl + alt + del)
2.) Click the "Processes" tab
3.) Select UruLauncher.exe
4.) Click the "End Process" button
5.) Click the "Yes" button on the dialog that appears

Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for every UruLauncher.exe in the process list. Once they are all closed. You can restart the patcher.

Try that and if you are still getting the issue, then we can take a deeper look into the problem.

Made sure there were no UruLauncher.exe processes running before trying again.

I've left it running for 20 minutes now.
Still says "Checking for patcher update".

I tried Drakmyth's advice, then i did a hard boot. After that, i was OK.

Not able to log in here either, it's been weeks since I last played MOULAgain. I'm stuck at the patcher update, and I've repeated the process stated above multiple times. I think I may just try again tomorrow/today.

Are you making uruexplorer.exe run as adminstrator? (Ignore the shortcut).

ok... make sure your patcher is 1.887 ....if not, re-download the Cyan installer and run it ... that fixed it for me ...

I had the same problem. Downloading the latest installer https://account.mystonline.com/download/MOULInstaller.exe and re-installing MOUL into the same directory fixed the issue for me. Don't worry, you won't have to download the entire game again.
