Sexual tensions spill off the screen as two young men and former childhood friends become sexually attracted to one another during a hot summer in the Argentinean countryside. So I prefer to keep it a secret...'' ''Hawaii'' is the third and by far most mature movie of Argentinian director Marco Berger from his trilogy (Plan B: 2009, Absent: 2011).
Η σεξουαλική ένταση ξεπιδά από την οθόνη καθώς δυό νεαροί και κάποτε παιδικοί φίλοι ελκύονται σεξουαλικά μεταξύ τους στην διάρκεια ενός καυτού καλοκαιριού στην εξοχή της Αργεντινής.
Η ταινία δεν είναι γυρισμένη στην Χαβάι αλλά στην Αργεντινή, τον λόγο που ο σκηνοθέτης διάλεξε αυτό τον τίτλο προτιμά να μην τον αναφέρουμε μιά που αποτελεί "κλειδί" στην ιστορία.
