It's been six long, joyless months since Rihanna was last seen on Instagram.

Her account had been deleted, then restored, then abandoned.

But early Sunday (Nov 2) morning, she returned with a single upside-down post, and a simple "Hellurrr #badgalback".

We waited, and then practically begged for her to return, since she is basically the best at Instagram anyway, having been named one of our favorite accounts of 2013.

It seems that she finally patched up her differences with the social network, posting this graphic with the hashtag #RIHunited:

Instagram seems to have preserved her account, too. She still has all her old Instagrams, as well as her 12.8 million followers, retaining her status as one of the most followed celebrities, although we're pretty sure the photos that originally got her account suspended have since been removed.

It's only a matter of time until her account is making headlines again, getting people arrested, violating Instagram's terms of service or taking shots at Instagram itself. And we can't wait. Welcome back, Rihanna!
