UNICEF, Yoko Ono and David Guetta are imagining all the people creating the world's largest singalong.

Syracuse University alumnus Taye Diggs and Super Bowl 2015 halftime show performer Katy Perry recorded themselves singing along with John Lennon's classic anthem "Imagine." But the track isn't finished, and that's where the #IMAGINE project comes in.

A new interactive digital experience, created by TouchCast and TheBridge.co, will allow anyone to record themselves covering "Imagine" along with their favorite stars through a free app.

Other notable contributors include Lance Bass, Dianna Agron, Seth Green, will.i.am, Priyanka Chopra, Adam Lambert, Idris Elba, Cody Simpson, Suki Waterhouse, Craig David, Courtney Cox (and her ex-husband David Arquette) and Sanaa Lathan.

The #IMAGINE project aims to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and bring awareness to UNICEF and its mission. Supporters and participants are encouraged to donate to the organization's programs for education, health care, clean water and emergency relief for children in more than 150 countries worldwide.

"A dream you dream alone may be a dream, but a dream two people dream together is a reality," Ono said in a statement.

To participate, fans can download the TouchCast app, currently only available via Apple's App Store. They then record themselves singing "Imagine" along with Lennon and others by tapping the red record button, along with a personal message imagining what a better world for children would be like.

Recordings can also be shared on social media with the hashtags #EVERYVOICECOUNTS and #IMAGINE.

Guetta will then mix all the celebrity and individual recordings into a multi-lingual "world" version that will premiere on New Year's Day in New York City's Times Square.

"I'm really excited to be working with UNICEF on this incredible new project," the superstar DJ said in a statement. "Our 'world' version of Imagine will be like no other - I am proud to be a part of this collaboration. We have to get the word out that every voice counts and every child counts too."
