Prison Break star Dominic Purcell under investigation after 'swiping fan with his car' while leaving charity event with girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord

Prison Break star Dominic Purcell was under investigation on Monday following an alleged hit-and-run incident in Venice, California, involving his girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord.

The 43-year-old Australian actor and McCord were leaving the 18for18 Summer Soiree event honoring the Somaly Mam Foundation on Sunday night when the incident allegedly occurred.

'We had a report of a possible hit-and-run investigation that was related to that and it's still being investigated,' said Sgt. Brian Gura of the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday.

McCord parachuted out of an airplane on Saturday in Santa Barbara to help raise funds for the annual 18for18 campaign to combat sex trafficking.

The 90210 star and her boyfriend attended the 18for18 party on Sunday on trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice and AnnaLynne was sitting in the passenger seat when the alleged hit-and-run occurred.

The truck was going no faster than five miles per hour when the side mirror may have hit the man in the shoulder, Gura said.

The man complained of soreness to his shoulder and lower back.

No arrest has been made.

MailOnline reached out to Purcell's spokesperson seeking comment but is yet to receive a response.

McCord did her second tandem skydive for the sex-trafficking charity alongside actor Josh Henderson and helped raise more than $100,000 for the group.

The normally glam star parachuted at 18,000 feet with her hair in a messy top-knot while clad in a navy boiler suit.

Purcell, who was born in England and raised in Australia, remains best known for his work on Prison Break. He's currently filming A Fighting Man that also features X-Men star Famke Janssen.
