Lets get Shabby......Challenge No 9......

LET'S GET SHABBY ...... CHALLENGE NO 9.....

Well its that time again for the the 'Let's get Shabby' monthly challenge......
I Loved Loved Loved this challenge.........

And here it is.....
CHALLENGE #9
.
.
Do we ever have a WONDERFUL challenge for you!!
.
.
.
*Create a Shabby garden on your project
*Include a quote from anywhere in the book ‘ Alice in Wonderland'.As gardens are usually full of a mix a flowers you will need to include a variety of at least five flowers on your creation.
If you arent familiar with the book....
Let us introduce you to a well loved story ............http://www.the-office.com/bedtime-story/classics-alice-1.htmYou dont have to do a creation based on this story - be inspired by it in any way you like! And let us know which chapter your quote come from
And this is what I came up with........
I am very lucky to own a copy of 'Alice in Wonderland' that was my nan's (old and beaten etc etc) and as much as I would of loved to actually 'attack' the pages, I just couldnt let myself do it as the memories are just too close for comfort, so instead I re-read the book for some inspiration.........
The whole book is jammed with loads of inspiration so choosing which path to follow was difficult in itself.......Anyway I found in Chapter 12...'Alice's evidence' a conversation between the white rabbit and the king which went like this......'Where shall I begin'? said the white rabbit.....
'BEGIN AT THE BEGINNING' said the king....... And so my title was born............ I had this photo of DS and DIL from their wedding and it fitted perfectly..... I made a little garden around the fence using lots of different flowers and the two flowers up the top were made on kraft by stamping then cutting them out.....The journal piece was made from the prima packaging using my scallop punches.......
Thanks for another great challenge 'lets get shabby girls'.......Awesome as always....
Thanks heaps for looking.......
Take care...
