222 Golden Retrievers Gather at Adorable Scotland Festival

If you think 101 Dalmatians are a lot, take a look at the Guisachan Gathering in Scotland, where 222 golden retrievers came together to celebrate the ancestral home of the breed.

Dedicated dog owners gathered at the estate where the first golden retrievers were bred in the mid-1800s.

The retrievers looked happy among so many of their fetching peers at the festival, which was run by the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland.

The event was first held in 2006 to celebrate the Golden Retriever Club's golden anniversary, commemorating 50 years of existence by getting 188 of the dogs together which, at the time, was the largest group of golden retrievers ever in one place.

This year's event featured a dog show, as well as a Scottish jig.
