For the first time, the process of shooting the calendar was filmed as well, in preparation for a documentary about the firefighters.

The organisation is looking to turn it into a documentary TV series about how the men are selected, and what happens after the calendar goes live.

Those lucky enough to feature in the calendar become worldwide celebrities and even get to tour the world to appear on American TV and meet fans.

In the end though, the calendar is about the charities, and raising as much money on it can.

Since 1993 it has raised more than $2.1 million dollars for charities such as the Children's Hospital Foundation, RSPCA, and mates4mates, which supports ex-Defence Force personnel.

The firefighters also support and help run a special camp for children with severe burns, bringing them together and helping them gain confidence.

You can buy the Firefighter's calendar online at their website. To follow the journey of the firefighters, follow them on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
