XESTA Star Head Touch Down Jig-Head

The Star Head Touch Down Jig-Head is a well balanced jig-head ideal for light game. Craftily developed in order to be able to swim, dart and fall, this jig-head is ideal for 'Mebaru' and 'Aji' fishing.

The Star Head Touch Down can be worked in 3 different ways. It can swim, and thus can produce a wobble-effect when straight retrieved. This is the simplest yet extremely important method of fishing with the Star Head Touch Down. The wobble-effect that it creates attract even the tiniest predators to bite.

Complemented with little tiny and sharp jerks and thus implementing a dart and fall technique, this method is ideal for 'AJI' fishing, a technique that can yield extremely positive results when fishing for light salt-water predators that flock our shores in the summer months.

The third method is ideal for 'Mebaru', the traditional method of fishing for light game predators at the bottom. The action compromise the a horizontal fall to the bottom, without any pressure in a state of no tension. The Star Head Touch down jig-head is then retrieved very slowly close to the bottom. With its wobbling effect, and the tail action of the soft bait, it incites rock-fish predators to bite with aggressiveness.

The Star Head Touch Down is an all-round weighted hook that supports a wide range of light game fishing methods. Comes coupled with a CULTIVA #6 or #8 hook for super-sharp hook-ups!

XESTA After Burner Mini 7 & 12 Gr.

The XESTA After Burner mini is tiny ultra light casting jig of the highest quality. The little range of XESTA After Burner mini jigs has proven itself to be superb fish catchers.

This mini version of the popular After Burner casting jigs, with their very small size and low weight, have been designed specifically for ultra light spinning techniques. These micro jigs have the shape of a small bait fish with a compressed and linear profile and coupled with 3-D eyes make this bait so realistic.

The colours have been so meticulously produced, in some cases even with holographic film. Given the small sizes, these mini jigs echo the colours of tiny forage fish such as small anchovies, small sardines, mullet, etc. The colours include shades of blue, green, silver and pink and are finished with small punctuations on the sides, which in turn mimic the forage fish quite realistically.

This ultra light casting jigs can be worked in various ways. It is very easy to produce a manic fluttering action with this jig, simply by using a straight retrieve method coupled with tiny small jerks, folllowed by another drop. Ideal for light game predators.

XESTA After Burner 40gr.

XESTA's After Burner Casting Jig is designed to achieve flexible movements when working the jig. It is an ideal jig for hunting salt-water predators with Shore Jigging techniques. It is no exaggeration to say that the After Burner has established itself as one of the top favourite casting jigs for shore jigging anglers around the world.

XESTA managed to achieve a great action when producing this metal casting jig. It can be worked in 3 different ways; straight retrieving the jig will produce a high wobbling effect . The fall action of the jig is unique, and thus can be complimented with jerked recovery to achieve a great action. The unique paint patterns will surely do their work as, combined with this movement, will make the jig quite enticing.

The head shape of the jig provides great stability and high precision, 2 extremely important factors when fishing for pelagic fish both in-shore and off-shore. Its swimming flickering is bound to the particular design of the body; the centre of gravity is backwards, so as to swing sideways while falling, creating ultra attractive vibrations. Expect a strike or two while waiting for the jig falling down. XESTA Nitro Off-Shore Jig 160 Gr.

XESTA's popular NITRO metal casting jig series. Ideal for both in-shore and off-shore jigging, this metal jig was produced with the ability to generate an easy flat fall out whilst its centre balance, with its asymmetrical body, will slide from left to right. It was also produced with the idea of creating a jig that can accommodate a wide variety of jerking actions, thus enabling the angler to adjust his technique according to various conditions.

If a one pitch retrieve and one jerk is applied, the jig will slide from side to side in a larger swimming movement. If a high pitch retrieve and short jerking is applied, the NITRO will violenty dart from side to side, creating an enticing situation for the predator to bite. The angler can also apply short jerks during the fall, which also will yield superb results for pelagic fish.
