Making it Rain (with Steam Coupons)

This week we starting sending discount coupons to the Steam inventories of our fans to thank them for their support and help cross promote with both our games and other indie games.

The first is a historical milestone in “digital cross-promotional discount technology” as anyone that purchased Serious Sam 3: BFE through Steam will receive a discount code for Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition and vice versa. We thought that people that love old-school badasses might also like other old-school badasses.

For the second coupon we partnered with Eighty Eight games to offer a coupon for their awesome game 10000000 for anyone that bought our beloved Dungeon Hearts through Steam and in turn anyone that owns 10000000 received a coupon for Dungeon Hearts! Unique RPGs ahoy!

If this works well (and so far it’s been outstanding) we plan on doing this periodically to help spread the word and share the wealth! Thanks again for all your support and we can’t wait to share what’s next from Devolver Digital!
