5 reasons why Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi is NOT a usual Bollywood film

It was in one of the most unique ways that Gauri Shinde introduced us to the characters from her upcoming film. And like the rest of you, even our excitement levels have only soared.....

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi has made headlines for quite some time now. SRK coming together with a heroine who was more than 25 years younger to him made everyone speculate if King Khan would be romancing Alia and joining the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. However Bollywoodlife in an EXCLUSIVE report revealed that SRK had a cameo in this Gauri Shinde film and the superstar would not play Alia's love interest in the movie. Now that we have found out that, this movie will hit the theatres on November 25 this year, let us also tell you that Shah Rukh- Alia's this film is very hatke. One would generally expect Shah Rukh Khan to woo his heroines on screen with his dimples and charm. However Gauri Shinde has decided to experiment with King Khan's romantic image. We aren't complaining one bit coz the last time SRK ditched his trademark style, he gave us a Chak De and we loved it. It would be interesting to see SRK and Alia's non romantic rapport onscreen.

#SRK not the hero of the film

Superstars' cameos are generally associated with song and dance or a blink and miss appearance. In case of Dear Zindagi, SRK plays a character role and hence it is definitely going to be unlike any of his earlier cameos. We also hear that Shah Rukh's role might be shorter in terms of screen space, however it is substantial. Imagine if your quack was as good looking and endearing as the Raees star.

#Alia Bhatt is the hero

While SRK is a bigger superstar to feature in the credits of Dear Zindagi star cast, Alia Bhatt is the hero of this film. We know Ms Bhatt has done films and carried them on her shoulders, like Highway but here she is the protagonist of the story. And despite other heroes' presence, the story will revolve around Alia's character.

#Not one but four hunks

It's common to have multi starrers in Bollywood, we have often seen love triangles but it buzz is to be believed then Alia will be romancing four hot hunks - Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi in Dear Zindagi. We bet Gauri's idea was to make B-town heroes super jealous of the 2 States actress. We can't wait to find out who will Alia pick in the end of the film.

R Balki's wife may be just one film old but there is no denying that her first film was so daringly different that we are eager to see what she's ready to serve us on screen this time around. We are grateful to Gauri for bringing back a talent like Sridevi in English Vinglish and we are glad that there are film makers like her who not only make women centric films but also up the entertainment standard in the industry.

SRK , Alia and the entire Dear Zindagi team came up with an innovative way to announce the release date of their upcoming project. They took to Twitter and shared adorable messages with each other and got us even more excited for this film. The movie was also in news for clashing with Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani 2 directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
