Take That are apparently considering reuniting once again next year for a new studio album and tour.

All five members are making "positive noises" about working together again, The Sun claims.

An insider claimed that the recent furore around the first X Factor elimination has inspired Gary Barlow to prioritise Take That.

"The events of the last week have really confirmed in Gary's mind that he needs to get back to what he loves best," the source said. "Gary is going to give this series his all and then it will be full steam ahead for Take That.

"The lads are enjoying a bit of freedom at the moment, but they are all united in their desire to get Take That back on the road. A new album and tour have been discussed, and all five of the boys are making really positive noises."

Robbie Williams is due to release his new solo album Take the Crown next month, followed by live shows.

Mark Owen will also promote a new solo record in spring 2013, and it is believed that any reunion would be scheduled around both his and Williams's existing promotional commitments.
