Description:
===============

This started out as a combination of two mods I really liked that were normally incompatible with each other (Bottle That Water v1.01 by LFox, and Empties v1.0 by Pbrix24). Over time this became a complete rewrite and uses very little from the original mods. I redesigned how things are handled internally, corrected several errors, and added many new features and enhancements.

So what does it do?
BTWA allows the player to fill many types of empty bottles from almost any water source in the game. This includes activators such as water faucets as well as open bodies of water such as rivers and puddles. You'll get back dirty water from most water sources, but you can get purified water from clean water sources such as those in Vault 101 at the start of the game, and you can get Aqua Pura from FEV water sources such as the tidal basin outside the main quest's water purifier plant if you have the Broken Steel DLC installed.

Here are some additional highlights:
  • Empty containers are recovered after consuming beverages, pork and beans, and med-x.
  • Drinking beverages such as beer and Nuka-cola return a bottle cap in addition to an empty bottle.
  • Added 8 new types of empty containers: Beer bottle, Vodka bottle, Wine bottle, Dirty water bottle, Purified water bottle, Aqua Cura bottle, Aqua Pura bottle, Holy water bottle.
  • Added new 3D models and inventory icons courtesy of T3T Misc Item Icons and the Unofficial Fallout3 Patch.
  • Adjusted beverage weights for increased realism.

Details:
===============

To obtain empty bottles, simply consume a beverage.

To fill bottles, go into sneak mode before activating a water source.

===============
Install:
===============

1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Copy one (not both) of the included ESP files into the data directory where you installed Fallout 3. In most cases this will be "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data".
3. Copy all of the mesh files into your fallout3/data/meshes directory.
4. Copy all of the texture files into your fallout3/data/textures directory.
5. Install and use ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated by Quarn.
6. When starting the game from the Fallout3 launcher, before clicking play, you should click 'Data Files' and then put a check next to the ESP file which was included with this mod.

You may alternatively use Fallout Mod Manager by Timeslip to install the mod.
I also recommend installing Better Booze by CptJoker and odin_ml which improves the looks of the bottles in game.

===============
Un-Install:
===============

Simply delete the files included with this mod from your Fallout3 data folder.

===============
Compatibility:
===============

Category 1: This mod is absolutely not compatible with any other mod which includes similar functionality. Please DO NOT try to use these at the same time!
These include, but aren't limited to, 3 Water Mods Compilation, Add Bottle and Cap, AddBottle10, AddEmptyNukaBottle, BasicNeeds, Bottle Refill, Bottle That Water (original), Drinking Beer Adds a Bottlecap, Empties, Empty Bottles and Refillable Water, Fallout Wanders Edition (FWE), Nuka Bottle, RI - Primary Needs, Solars Bottled Collection.

Category 2: Some mods (especially overhaul mods or realistic needs mods) may replace ingestibles with their own modified versions. They will often disable this mods ability to return empty containers. Some companion mods may also be incompatible since they may alter activators so that NPCs may use sinks, toilets, etc. They may disable this mods ability to fill water bottles. You may be able to resolve many conflicts by adjusting the position of this mod in your load order, and by creating a merged patch using FO3Edit and following the instructions in the Fallout3 Training Manual for FO3Edit.

I'm very sorry, but because interoperability is highly dependent on what other mods you have loaded I cannot support fixing any compatibility issues for you. If you cannot get this mod to work alongside other mods you are using please simply uninstall this mod.

Bugs/Issues:
===============

After drinking a beverage, the empty bottle may not show up in your inventory until you exit your pip-boy menu and then return back into it. This is caused by the game engine.

===============
History:
===============

1.3 - 05/19/2011 - Added milk bottles, added new inventory icons, removed the word "empties" from all bottles, misc enhancements and bug fixes.
1.2 - 08/31/2009 - Added complete support for Broken Steel. Added a base effect to an additional water activator (this was a leftover bug from LFox's mod).
1.1 - 08/30/2009 - Fixed a major bug in Option B (I'm very sorry about that). Added preliminary support for Broken Steel. Removed unneeded meshes/textures (this was a leftover bug from Pbrix24's mod).
1.0 - 08/20/2009 - Initial Release.

===============
To Do:
===============

I'd like to create an improved version of LFox's hidden perk that can distinguish between different water types used by placeable water objects, and also works on activators. This would eliminate the need to modify activators and actor effects, thus increasing compatibility with companion mods. Unfortunately this is beyond my knowledge ATM. If you know of a way to help with this please contact me :)

Please let me know of any major bugs. I'll be happy to fix them!
