SRK's quick visit to TN
Shah Rukh Khan was in Tamil Nadu recently to shoot for his Chennai Express that has many Tamil actors, including Sathyaraj as part of its cast. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone plays his love interest. 'The Chennai Express team had shot for three days from April 28 to 30 in Tamil Nadu. They had shot in Kangeyam and Palladam near Coimbatore. SRK and Deepika were also part of this schedule.
The two stars shot for a couple of scenes involving Tamil actors Delhi Ganesh and Mohan Raman, who plays a priest, during the schedule,' says a source from the unit.
We hear that the team had shot at the well-known Vattamalai Murugan temple and its surrounding areas for a day and had moved to a temple near Palladam to shoot for another day where they had canned some shots on the temple steps. The film unit had brought in their own security team to keep the crowds at bay and three to four cameras were used to capture the shots from multiple angles. Some time back, the team had shot for 15 days in Munnar on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. While there is speculation that the film might also be dubbed in Tamil, unit sources maintain that as of now,
they don't have any such plans.
