The two exterior are well placed, appropriately sized and have nice pulls for mittened hands. There is also a smaller interior zippered pocket for valuables- great!

This is my first down coat and I had avoided them in the past because I was afraid they'd be bulky and constricting (think Christmas Story).. but, I was wrong. I am 5'10" with broad shoulders and purchased the size 14. it fits very well, I could probably size down one size, but if i layered too much, it might start to feel binding. The size 14 has a nice shape to it, it's fitted for a woman's body without being impractically tight, and allowing room for some layers underneath. I really like the quality and design of this coat, it really does pack up small- it even comes with a stuff sack! I anticipate this being a very versatile piece to add to my wardrobe.

It isn't perfect--I'd take off half a star for not having a double-ended zipper--but it almost stands alone as a down product that doesn't make you look like a fat Yeti. It is very collapsible into its enclosed stuff product, what a boon for traveling. A waterproof rain shell to go over and you're good for anything. Fits fairly close, but a size 8, which is my most usual size, still has room for a sweater.

I like the design on the inside and for being down it still has a feminine cut. Looking around online about down I found that 800 fill is what you should look for in a jacket. I'm excited to try it out this winter since it doesn't have the bulk of some other down jackets that I've owned.

Fitted without being tight so you don't look too puffy. I got the purple color which is very pretty, and the liner is stunning.
