Take That have been turned into LEGO men - as a unique gift to celebrate Manchester Arena’s 20th anniversary this year.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald head to the arena next week to start a massive nine-gig run at the arena on their new tour as the new three-man Take That.

And Arena bosses are over the moon after LEGO designers created this image of Take That as shiny plastic yellow figures at the Arena to celebrate the venue’s 20th year in business.

James Allen, Manchester Arena General Manager, said; “Everyone loves getting presents but the guys at LEGO have really gone above and beyond for our 20th anniversary. To have our favourite band immortalised in LEGO is the icing on our birthday cake.”

Emma Owen from LEGO said: “Take That are one of the biggest and most successful bands of the 21st Century and LEGO UK is thrilled to be able to help celebrate their return to the Manchester Arena”.

Take That have certainly played their part in the arena’s 20-year-history.

The band’s 9 new shows, from Thursday onwards, will take their Manchester Arena tally to 38 shows.

It will mean Take That overtake Westlife’s record of 33 shows and Kylie Minogue’s 30 shows.

But they’re still some way off the most played artist at the venue - that’s comedian Peter Kay who has amassed an incredible 56 shows at the arena.
