My Original Abortion Clinic Mod
This mod was originally created by me back in Early Dec 2009, and posted (one of my last posts before the mod theives struck) at modthesims2 (a site, as I mentioned in my main page, that I’ve lost all trust in for allowing my mods to be ripped off). I created this mod as a response to requests for a non-core script mod. I also created a tutorial (at the same time, back in Dec 2009) on how to do this sort of thing, at SexySims3, but that site has shut down. Anyway, here’s the old mod which still works for Sims 3 pre-ambitions (WA updated only). I’ve no plans to release an Ambitions update for reasons I explained in my main page.

Abortion Clinic non-Core Mod Sims 3 - created Dec 2009
Adds the option for Abortion to any and all Hospitals in the town. The option becomes available when your sim is pregnant (obviously) and is available to teens (if you’re using my teen woohoo mods) as well as adults. Your sims will go to the hospital as they would when normally sent there and the abortion will take place inside the hospital (as with giving birth). There is no lasting effect to the abortion. The cost $2,000 is hardcoded into the mod, but it’s easily something I could make tunable in a later version.
This is a non-core mod, so it won’t affect anything else in your game. It can be used with core mods.
To use just place the mod in your mod folder.

Labout Inducer has been a part of my hospital/abortion clinic mod for ages and ages now. You can get it from my Facebook account. I do everything through FB now.

On a side note, I see that ModTheSims2 are up to their old tricks. They must have found out I updated this mod here because apparently they’ve removed it from their site since my update. lol … I think I can guess what will happen next…
Anyway, modders out there still throwing the shit down. Man they got issues or something. Never could figure out what the problem is with most of them. People make shit up all the time because they’re retarded and they’ve got nothing better to do.

I set it so high, because without the need to earn money for things in the game, it quickly becomes boring IMO. I mean, where’s the challenge when everything is free? Part of the fun is doing tasks, jobs, or whatever, to earn money in the game. If I set the abortion charge for this mod to free, it just becomes another cheat mod. Abortion now costs less and I changed it slightly so that money is taken from household funds immediately unless the sim doesn’t have enough, then it’s added to the bill. I originally put it straight on the bill so players could get abortions for their penniless sims, on credit. lol

Thanks lost account I appreciate that mod, But you are so right having it free is boring. Also I wanted it to be tunable so I can change it to 500 dollars because that’s the real cost for abortions(I like realistic things on the sims ) lol but I am happy with this mod thank you!!(hope you will still make a tunable version though 🙂 )
For some reason my lady walks into the hospital after I select the option to get an abortion for $2000 but then turns right back around and walks out. No money is deducted and no time passes by. I’m running Sims 3 WA on an XP machine.
And, thanks for all of your hard work on the mods that you do. I’m sorry for all of the issues that you have had to deal with. I think your work is wonderful! 🙂
That’s because the $2000 pay version only works with AMB. EA made some changes in the update that made that old WA version wonky. 🙂
The old version of this mod (title V2) which works with WA was on ModTheSims2 but they removed it (same old tricks; I mean they keep everyone else’s outdated versions of mods but not mine, what gives?). It’s the first one of the links.

The one on that site owned by Pescado (a snake I’ve come to despise after all this time, since I discovered a lot of the shit-stirring was done by him. A very devious untrust worthy man), if it still exists there, is so old it’s worthless. It was the very first mod I created for sims 3 when I first started tinkering with this stuff. I hope they removed it because it would just screw up people’s games now since it won’t work with any of the xps and had none of the improvements I later made.

Hi! Any updates on this mod for Late Night coming! I also wanted to say it is awful what MTS has done to you! I only use Twallen (sp?) for my mods. And well you becasue I love your work! Maybe you could come back if you think of any safety’s you could put in place.
I really love your abortion mode, and I still use it even though I have everything above Amb., it still works, but I really wish you would consider updating it and posting it here on your site. People will be people and I wouldn’t let anyone stop me from doing what I want. But we all love your work!

I feel angry too for modders that just steal your work and cover up by deleting your post. However, I don’t wish a few selfish modders to change the way you look at the game community and I just want to say that I support you in your creation.

Hey, I’ve been a fan of sims games since the original, I remember playing it as much as I could, and how excited I was when I found out about sims 2 and sims 3. Anyway, I recently found out about mods, because I never payed attention to forums I only wanted to play, and I’ve been looking for good mods that will work and not kill my game.
