WATCH Zaalima from Raees: Welcome back, SRK, the king of romance!

Zaalima, the second single from Raees, was finally released on the internet today and it features Shah Rukh Khan in the classic, romantic mould that he is oh-so-famous for; a persona that has been missing for quite some time from the big screen.

With kohl-laden eyes and dressed in black kurta-pajama (with black shades and a black turban thrown in), Shah Rukh Khan looks like the perfect 'Pathan' as he serenades Mahira Khan in the middle of a desert.

Given the desert-like surrounding, moments from Zaalima are reminiscent from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham's Suraj Hua Maddham where Shah Rukh and Kajol danced in front of the great pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

Sung by Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur, Zaalima has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by JAM8. Expect Zaalima to become the romantic anthem for, at least, the first half of the year.

Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia who made the National Award-winning film Parzania, is the story of a bootlegger called Raees (Shah Rukh Khan) who wants to expand his business in '80s Gujarat but his efforts are challenged by ACP Majumder (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) at every turn.

Raees is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25.
