Students at a Utah middle school staged a walkout to protest their peers who identified as 'furries,' asserting they were biting and scratching people. The hours-long protest took place outside Mt. Nebo Middle School on Wednesday. It was triggered by a petition demanding a stricter dress code, though some middle schoolers reported the offending students were physically attacking other people. A 'furry' is anyone with a strong interest in anthropomorphic animals, and enthusiasts often don full-body animal costumes. However, district PIO Seth Sorensen told DailyMail.com the concerns - and rumors circulating online - were 'completely untrue.'

The Washington University Transgender Center in Missouri would prescribe irreversible gender changing drugs to children as young as 12 after seeing them just twice, according to the whistleblower who worked there for four years. Jamie Reed, who is gay and married to a transgender person herself, told Dr Phil Primetime that classmates would arrive together demanding to transition as the fad swept through their schools. Ian Golash, the social studies department chair at Chief Sealth International High School, was placed on leave last week according to the district. The move to have him suspended came after conservative advocacy group 'Accuracy in Media' exposed his social media posts outside of the school. In a video clip released this month, Adam Guillette, the president of the group, asked Golash whether what happened to Israel in October was justified. A gunfight broke out on Tuesday evening at a Circle K gas station in Decatur between at least four men with bullets flying across the forecourt of the garage. Three innocent bystanders were caught in the crossfire as they fled, with two of the men, aged 32 and 44, hospitalized and a third grazed by a bullet. Police arrested Darius Morris, 34, and he was charged with three counts of aggravated assault - they are still searching for the other suspects.

The 40-year-old man was stretchered away from a sea cave called Charco El Tancon in Puerto Santiago in northern Tenerife on Monday afternoon, having sustained 'serious injuries' to his legs. An impressive 1,475 statues have filled the landscape beside a D-Day memorial overlooking France 's Golden Beach in honour of each of the servicemen who fell during the historic mission. The Standing with Giants silhouettes are part of the For Your Tomorrow installation at the British Normandy Memorial, in Ver-Sur-Mer, France. In a stunning nod to the servicemen who fell on D-Day itself, almost 80 years ago, the fields within the British Normandy Memorial campus have been filled with two-metre-tall statues of soldiers - representing the three military services. Alongside the 1,475 silhouettes, the project will also install bespoke 'giants' to represent the only two women on the Memorial, nurses Sisters Evershed and Field. The two heroic women died while saving 75 men from a sinking hospital ship.
