Agree. I've see hundreds of such on sale online + offline. 10+ different die varieties are known to have been forged. A disaster for beginners.

Size and weight differences are perhaps the most obvious criteria. Genuine Da-Ding Tong-Bao of the *same* die variety tend to have *very* low size deviations (i.e. less than ±0.3mm acccording to my observations).
