Description | Samples 15285 through 15288 (and 15268) were all collected from the rim of a small crater at station 6 and returned in the same bag. They are breccia fragments from the same location as 15265. Consist of all components of the soils in a fragmental, perhaps partly glassy matrix and contains, besides ophitic and intersertal basalts, plagioclase breccias, troctolites, noritic fragments, glass and individual mineral grains. |
