Again about Ettenmoors<\/u><\/a> topic:



Dear administration, yesterday our gamers created accounts in EU server Laurelin and tested it. In Ettenmoors were 2 kreep-raids and 2 freep-raids + few small groups of players, but there were no lags. During few hours we looked on stabilized work of lotro-client without any lags both in castle and in «clear field».
Can you explain it?
Maybe lags of our 2 RU-servers attribute to the server overcrowding? (because most large lags we have in the evenings and week-ends)
It`s time to tell us honestly about everything, because your answer about incorrect architecture of LotRO-client do not pass test of facts.
Why is on EU server everything working excellent, but on RU server it is impossible to play in the prime-time?
Please, do not tell us about recent hosting change – we had problems with lags before, and after hosting change problems just redoubled.

Does administration plan to do something with endless RU servers problems? You tell us that server details are better than the same on US servers, but we see no verification of it and see a lot of opposite verifications.

Server Mirkwood was down during 12 hours since night till afternoon May the 3rd. It was restored with 1 hour recoil. Now it is May the 5th, but there are no comment from administration concerning this problem. Does it mean, that opinion of players is not interesting to administration? Does it mean, that servers functionability do not interest administration and administration do not plan to intercommunicate with us?

Just one thing interest me: when our administration shall write in news «Dear friends, there are no more lags in Ettenmoors or any other place in Middle-Earth». And as an answer to administration will be no any pretension and user will say thank you to admins.

1. When will be no lags?
2. When our administration will be communicative?
3. When support should stop give answers in style «You are a fool»?
4. When our servers should stop crash?
5. When administration should start inform us about situation on servers?
6. Does administration plan to communicative «bagged» skirmish-marks and gold?
7. When administration should punish bag-user as EU and US administration do?
8. When administration should spot disinform us about patch dates?

I want to join.
It seems that situation comes critical.
I want to hear all these answers very much. About lags, about bags, about goldtrading.
Answers in complete form, not duty phrases.
On this project there are a lot of gamers, who saw the same scandals on other projects. Usually keeping silence or duty phrases from administration side leads to negative increasing from users side. In this case administration following the way of decreasing number of subscriptions.

From my side I want to add, that for me complete answer looks like this:
- reason of the problem
- what is to be done to resolve the problem
- when the problem will be resolved.

Administration tells us, that RU server details are better than the same one on US. We have no reasons not to believe it.
Great number of creep-players tell us, that they were on EU Ettenmoors and there were no lags, and 2 creep-raids did not notice freep-raid until the visual contact. Again we have no reasons not to believe it.

From these two facts follows the question: what kind of other ITT projects «soft» are installed on Fornost and Mirkwood «hard»?

Yes, indeed. Managers, instead of answering the formulated questions, just erase these questions very quickly. Possibly, they believe that no question – no trouble. This is kind of childish and at the very least seems to be an unethical act. At most this is a rudeness with respect of the (LotRO) users.
Dear managers and forum moderators, however much you want to shut your eyes to the problems, they still exist, and complaints about them will appear in spite of your activity on destruction of those complaints. If it still goes on the community will go ahead and for example will claim to the ITT company management. Wouldn’t it be better to give an honest and direct answer to the questions people are interested in?

There remains one thing to do – to petition the Turbine Inc., because it seems ITT does its best to destroy the top-class project. It is not even a matter of lags and server crashes, it’s a matter of arrogant and rude attitude to the (LotRO) clients.

I would like the project manager to answer the question about the crash of the Fornost server. Yesterday the server crashed at 4 a.m. and was fixed only at the beginning of working day. Today the server crashed at 2 a.m. Does anyone watch over the server functionality on a 24 hour basis? Is there any sense for us to expect that at the night time the technical problems will be resolved, or it will be put off till morning? Thank you.

During 1.5 years we had just one answer from admisistration:

Problem of lags is not problem of server «hard», it is problem of project architecture. Ettenmoors created for 80-90 users, not 300 as on RU servers. We cannot change architecture or deny access.
And our servers are better then US the same one.
