He's a work of art! Robert Pattinson sports paint covered face for the cover of Premiere Magazine
He's one of the most handsome actors in Hollywood.
But Robert Pattinson has covered up his perfect facial features with paint.
The 27-year-old had his enviable mug splattered with red, white, blue and black strokes of colour for the cover of the French magazine Premiere.
Masterpiece: Robert Pattinson sports a paint and dirt covered face on the front of the May issue of Premiere magazine
Despite the attempts to sully his attractiveness, Robert's brooding good looks and exquisitely messy hair still shine through on the front of the magazine's May issue.
The cover is part of the publication's Cannes Film Festival special issue, for which the English actor has two films competing.
In Maps To The Stars, he plays a Hollywood limo driver and engages in steamy sex scenes with co-star Julianne Moore.
The film takes a complex look at entertainment industry and what it reveals about Western culture. It is directed by David Cronenberg, with who Robert previously worked on in the 2012 movie Cosmpolis.

The Australian dystopian crime drama The Rover will also screen at the festival and finds the Twilight star portraying a member of a roaming gang in a post-apocalyptic world.
The movie co-stars Guy Pearce and is scheduled to be released on June 13th.
Robert could also end up in an awkward situation by running into his ex Kristen Stewart at the annual French film gala since her latest drama Clouds of Sils Maria is also in contention.
The Cannes Film Festival runs from May 14 - 25th.
