The original creator, Exilus5, has retired from battle.net. He has asked me to continue his work. I have permission from him to upload it here prior to him quitting.
Soldiers is a 2D Shooting Map, very addicting, 9 weapons, 2 maps, 5 different game modes. This map also has a multi-board to keep track of your stats, kills, deaths, and score.
Game Hosts - Please use listchecker or a delay reducing program as it is effective in game, this game is best with minimal or no delay.

Good and unique map, reminds me of all 2D shooters I've played ^^
I really suggest other people take a look at this very well-made map!
There's a button called "Update", uploading multiple maps is forbidden.
I'll approve this map and delete the other one, since "merging" them is a bit impossible for me.

I was unable to update the other thread because it was not mine, my friend Exilus5 is the creator of soldiers and he's retired, I only fixed the compatibility issue..

You should try playing on a hostbot, dedicated server 100mbit, no delay whatsoever, makes it an epic game - Or have a host use listchecker or any other lag/delay reducing programs to make the game more enjoyable.
This map is AWESOME, no other word could match it, The physics involved is very well applied and the only defect is that when falling from high places I think it should take a bit of your life to make it more realistic.

What the heck is going on? I just tried to play this map on bnet, and after the last dialog box, the game freezes, not crashes, FREEZES. I'm hosting it with Dota client so I can turn down the delay.
This game is pretty lame it becomes a spam grenade fest. Guns become tools to scare people into your grenades, not to mention the easy fly over their heads and drop a grenade instant kill 100% chance. So essentialy the game is a grenade skirmish in disguise, which isnt neccisarily a bad thing other than the fact there is only one grenade. 1/5

Outstanding map! Never came across a game like this one. The game play is original and its great fun! Although the terrain could use a bit of improvement, the game is quite entertaining nonetheless. Its a shame you stopped working on this map. It would be great if you came up with updated versions with more arenas to play in! But anyways, hope you keep u[ the good work with this
Because the original map maker's computer crashed and lost the original file. I don't remember the exact details, it's literally been years and neither me or FatherSpace play now so the map is in it's final version despite memory leaks after a certain time and other stuff.
