Hi Guys

I have this drive here, already messed up by the client as you can see in the photos.
After swaping PCB, reading ROM and writing into donor PCB, the only thing I get is this:
No Spins, only busy.

LOG:

Is this a SSHD or a simple HDD .I see the Board to be messed up why not swap ROM to other PCB And Try Once .Can You tell me what Family This Drive It .How About Attaching Rom To A Post In Forums

Are you sure you are dealing with the native ROM. Check the serial number stored in it to confirm that before wasting too much time on it.

Hi,
Any Change In The New PCB After a ROM Swap Or Same ?,Mostly The Flash IS Where the focus should be ,If you have same drive same firmware etc you can do a secure erase in the donor then that pcb's flash gets empty too and a board swap works otherwise it does not ,PC3K has also added some support in new version do not know how good bad it is

Amarbir, I think this is the most useful thing you've posted on here yet :D . I've yet to need to replace a failed PCB on a Seagate SSHD, and I keep hearing people on forums suggest "erasing the NAND", but you're the first person to actually describe how it's done. Kudos, and thanks!

Hee Hee ,
I will keep my promise made few days back ,Someone should try this once but everything should match in the donor hdd then it will work 100%
