@database README @wordwrap @node main "README" Congratulations on your purchase of Heretic II Amiga. By double-clicking on the "Install Heretic II" icon you will start the installation process. This is pretty much self-explaining, however, if you want more information you should double click the "H2 Help" icon to access the HTML-based Help. The first time you start this it will try to determine automatically what kind of web browser you are using. It will present you with a selection of browsers it was able to find, or ask you for your choice of browser which you must identify with a file requester. Note that if your browser requires additional arguments (for example, Voyager, IBrowse and AWeb all accept the URL keyword), you can specify this in the file box of the requester. Your selection is stored in an environment variable HereticII/Browser, so if you want to reselect a browser, just delete this variable (by entering @{i}@{fg shine}UNSETENV HereticII/Browser@{fg text}@{ui} from a shell window). If this process does not work for you for any reasons, just fire up your own favourite browser and point it to the file "h2_help.htm" on this CD to read the documentation. Unfortunately there is no standard way for browser access unless you run a Workbench replacement like Directory Opus that supports file types. You will find additional material in the "Goodies" drawer on this CD. Among other things, it contains - The latest Version of Warp3D. If you want to play on a 3D graphics card, you will need to install at least version 3 of Warp3D. - Version 4.16 of AHI (required for Soundcard users) - A new updated version of WarpUp - An AREXX script that is intended for users of machines with only 64 Megs that have a large Workbench running. If you have memory trouble, it is advisable to have a look at this. If you have problems, please do not hesitate to contact customer support. Look at "H2 Help" for addresses, phone numbers, and internet links. We wish you many hours of fun playing @{fg fill}@{b}Heretic II Amiga@{ub}@{fg text} @endnode
