Kim Jae-joong X Kong Seong-ha, Official Casting for 'Shrine'

Singer and actor Kim Jae-joong and actor Kong Seong-ha will work together with horror. 

The movie "Shrine (Shinsa)" (Working Title, Kazuyoshi Kumakiri) has confirmed its casting on Tuesday. The movie will be cranked in next month. The movie will be filmed in Kobe, Japan, on an all-location basis.

"Shrine" is an occult horror movie. Three college students who visited an abandoned shrine in Kobe disappear, which leads the Shaman (played by Kim Jae-joong) and his classmate (played by Kong Seong-ha) uncover the true identity of the devil.

Kim Jae-joong plays the role of a shaman. He is a gentle man from art college. He was called upon by God unwillingly, but he set up a new party in accordance with his fate.

Kong Seong-ha appears as a friend of Kim Jae-joong. She asks for help from her friend, the shaman, to solve the bizarre things that are ahead. She plans to show her immersive acting with a unique atmosphere.

It is the first Korean film to be directed by Kazuyoshi Kumakiri. She won the Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Actress at the Shanghai International Film Festival with her film "658KM, Yoko No Tabi." She has been invited to the Berlin International Film Festival and the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival with her film "Manhole."
