“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” may be getting a second season!

On August 17, the CEO of ASTORY Lee Sang Baek shared his hopes and plans to produce Season 2 of the hit drama. He remarked, “Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce Season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’ The goal is to air Season 2 in 2024.” He continued, “It is not easy to coordinate the schedules of the cast and production team, so we will have to go through a lot of discussion.”

The CEO also mentioned that there will be no replacement of the cast, director, writer, or production team for Season 2. He said, “As long as there are no unexpected changes, the goal is to maintain more than 90 percent of the same members as now. For this reason, it will take a considerable amount of time to coordinate, but the plan to produce Season 2 has not changed.”

The CEO explained that they will continue to raise viewers’ interest in the drama through the production of various content using the drama’s intellectual property (IP), such as a webtoon which is already serialized, a musical, and merchandise, until Season 2 airs.

Meanwhile, a source from channel ENA made a brief statement on the same day, sharing, “Production for Season 2 is currently in talks.” Some of the main cast members of Season 1 also reportedly shared that they have not heard anything in particular in this regard.

The next episode of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will air on August 17 at 9 p.m. KST. With only two more episodes left, viewers are curious to see if the drama will conclude on a high note.
